21 Week ultra sound

I have been looking forward to getting to see our baby girl on the 2ND ultra sound for some time. It has felt like forever since the last time I was able to see her. My Mom and Dad came with me to see our little one. I really enjoyed their presence while experiencing this amazing new chapter in my/our life. Picture above is baby girls legs..She had them up by her face the whole time. I sure do feel her kicking all the time though. That also is such an amazing feeling. I love to feel her move around. I always want to nudge the person next to me and just be like.."do you feel that" lol. Matt was able to feel her finally move on Christmas evening. He pulled his hand away quit quickly. He loved it though. And it was fun to finally have him experience her move.

So the pic above is another picture of her foot for a measurement. And the picture below is a look at her face head on. If you were able to turn the picture counter clockwise once, there she is looking straight back at you. Matt couldn't see her face the first time, but once I turned the picture he saw it and was just amazed.
The nurse got a great shot of the heart, face and brain and said she was fully developed. We couldn't see all the fingers and toes yet but of what we could see is she was all there. Every time we have seen her she has had her hands right up next to her face.

My Bump

Alright I thought before that when you are pregnant you grew and had a baby bump from day one...Well I finally have my bump showing. It is fun to see my belly grow. And I think I have felt the baby kicking and such. Of course I feel it after I eat so I always am questioning it for indigestion. But I think I am sure it is our baby girl moving around. Matt every once in a while will say "OH your belly is growing and I can see it now". We both are so excited. After the holidays we are going to start the remodeling. I am very excited for that. We will need to get a baby changing station for her room, but other than that I think we have everything we need. We still need to get a car seat and stroller and those things but for her room I think we only need the baby changing station...which we probably don't even need? Who knows...just a want. I still haven't gone shopping yet for little cloths and what not's. But am always excited to see baby cloths at the stores. We will get to that point. Well I don't have much more to post on the baby. I have another Dr.'s apt on the 29Th of December I am REALLY excited for. Get to go see baby girl again. Hopefully she will let us see her face this next time and get good measurements of her heart. I will be impatiently waiting till then.

18 weeks

Matt and I were so excited to finally get to see what sex we were going to have for the baby. We went in and the Nurse got started right away. Matt and I were so pleased to see her moving all around. Stretching her legs and arms, we were able to watch her swallow and move her lips. While she was moving all around Matt had asked "And you can't feel that?". I couldn't feel it at all. I was trying to see if I could but couldn't the whole time. Baby Girl had her head bent the whole time up against her chest with one arm covering her face the whole time so we couldn't get a head shot. The Doctor asked that I come back in 4 weeks to check again so we could see if we can get a face shot to make sure she doesn't have any problems(cleft lip, etc...) And we didn't get a good shot of her heart so we will double check on that when we go back. We got great shots of her from the chest down. But to see everything that we saw just made us some happy Parents...Wow that is the first time thinking parents. That brings a smile to my face.

When we went in we were there about 10 minutes and couldn't see the sex of the baby due to the position she was in and they would shake my tummy and watch the baby react from that and see her move a tiny bit. They asked that I get up and walk around to see if she moves any. The Doc said she had a good guess it was a girl and just wasn't to sure and Matt made sure it was a 100% before the final word was made. So when I went and laid back down Baby had moved just a bit and we had a confirmation it was a girl. We both were so excited. I was talking up a storm just so excited and showing my excitement and Matt kinda was just quiet with the happiest look on his face. I kept asking him what he thought and he just kept saying "I am just so excited" I thought he may have been a bit disappointed to hear it was a girl, but I guess I was a bit over excited and he made sure I knew that he was NOT disappointed and he was just as happy as can be. He was just in shock of seeing the little one and finding out the sex.
Matt had said that it hadn't hit him yet that we were pregnant since I haven't been sick at all and not acting as if I was pregnant. So when he saw the little one it was kinda like "Oh wow...were pregnant." And one of the first things he said when we got into the car was "she is not dating until she is 17" and just started thinking about how much more he thought it would be difficult raising a girl and worrying about the boys that will come after her. We will just have to take it one day at a time. This just has been the most exciting part so far about being pregnant.
Now I am almost half way there and hope that the next 22 weeks go a bit quicker...which I wont hold my breath. I am now really excited to get the decorating started and working on updating our home to baby proof it.

Dr. Visit @ almost 14 weeks

Today I went in to visit the Doctor for my check up and everything was great. I was able to hear the baby's heart beat. Just amazing to me. It was such a fast little beat compared to mine. I wish Matt could have been there to experience hearing our little ones heart beating. Such an incredible thing to be able to listen to. What the Doctor heard he liked. Said it was a strong heart beat. I also was cornered to get the H1N1 and I laughed when she was done and it was painless..I think I was the most worried about the needle shot. But all was well. The Doc gave me some reassurance on the Cervical cancer. I really like my Doctor too. I feel very comfortable and trust what he has to say. I am not worried at all with the test results. I know that i will be ok and once the baby is here and if I still have the same test results we will then go in and remove the cells. I hear this is a very common thing to happen and is completely curable if treated in the right amount of time. Which I have.

Well I have not been sick at all and have been feeling great. Wish it went a little quicker but know I have no say in that. I am starting to show though. I just kinda look fat. lol. I am not worried about it though. I am excited to show a little more so it is noticable i am pregnant. Well I am just trying to get as many hours as I can in work and starting to get really excited to hear what we are having. That will come with in the next 5-6 weeks. So I will keep posting.

Test results

SO, I had spoken with my Dr on Friday and he let me know that my pap test came back irregular and he had explained to me that I have stage 1 cervical cancer. He reassured me not to worry that with it being so early that we would be able to do treatments for it after the baby is born. But how can I not worry? He said that we will do another test here in another 2 months and that it could just be a false reading with all the different hormones going through my body right now. We cant do any of the tests right now due to it could cause a miscarriage. So after the baby is born we will start the treatment for it. I am a bit freaked out but I have another Dr's visit next Monday where I will ask him all the questions I can think of. Anyone have any questions I could add to the list?

I wish I had more to report on. I thought I would be posting left and right about everything going on with being pregnant and my experiences. But there is not much going on. The past week I have laughed at myself for being so emotional over the littlest things and yes..Crying over everything. (only for 3 days) But after I cried and got it all out I was fine and happy and back to normal. Matt even asked... "Do you think it is because of being pregnant?" LOL

Well I am having the most craziest off the wall dreams. Not my usual dream, where Matt has to say when I wake up and tell him about what I just had to go through "it wasn't really me in your dream". These dreams are much longer and just like a fairy tale. Interesting stuff.

Well My doctor called me and left a message that He wanted to review my blood result with me yesterday night. So all day I have been worrying something is wrong and just want to talk to him, so bad to hear what he has to say. I had tried to call him this morning from 8:00 - 5:00 and I wasn't able to get to talk to him with him being a busy Doctor. It makes me wonder what they can find out with the blood results? Could it be horrible news? I hope not. We hope not. Matt has been just as worried. Asking me every time we had talked on the phone today..."did you talk to the Doctor yet"? Well I hope with him not calling me right back and stating it is an urgent matter or whatnot it is not that big of a thing as we are making it to be. Once I talk to the Doc I will post and update on my worries. LOL Love y'all. So excited for this new chapter in our lives and just cant wait.

Our first visit to the Doctors

Well everything looks great so far. Learned a little more of the Do' & Don't and my travel restrictions coming up. I also was told we are to date...10 weeks and 6 days. I thought i was at 8 weeks and 3 days. So that was wonderful. He actually said he thinks we are farther along than that but to stick with the new due date of May 9Th. So that was wonderful news to hear.
Well Matt and I were just so happy when we were able to see the Baby itself..along with its hand, head and if you look close there are eyes you can see. WOW. can i say Wow again. Amazing stuff happening here. So we also got to see the heart beat and learn more about what will be going on the next little while.
And the Doctor said in about 2 weeks I can start telling people were pregnant. Ha, He was to late to warn me on that one. I was so excited I couldn't hold out on telling people why I was so happy.

Pregnant for over a month...

Well as of right now I had gotten over a lot of the nauseousness and found that I am having to eat more frequently and learning the right things to eat. I have stopped taking my prenatal before I go to bed. I have found that they upset my stomach in the morning more. So I started taking them in the morning and it seems to be going fine so far. I am not as Nauseous as I was. And to tell ya the truth I thought it would be a lot tougher than this. *knock on wood* Who knows it will probably get worse but as long as I am not sick i think I can manage the other stuff easier.

No cravings for food yet. I do have a better nose right now and can smell things a lot better. I am not sure I like it as much either. it is smelly out there.. lol . that's sad. I haven't even thought about buying baby items yet. It really hasn't come to a reality yet I think and/or just we still have a very long time till the baby is here. And who knows what could happen from here out? All I can do is hope for the best.

All I can say at this point is that I am really excited. This is something I feel is right and we are ready for and to raise a child with my Best Friend. To also know that we can raise a child and support it so it can experience life itself. And to always work for the best life that we can live together in love & happiness. Who knows what the child will grow up to be and what kind of a life it will want to live.

Well our little ones heart is beating now. "Buds" will appear and will develop into arms and legs in later weeks. it is the size of a sprinkle you usually can find on cupcakes.
Nothing too much to report. Just living life still and dreaming of holding our first child.

I find my self saying...

When I am talking with Matt I catch my self saying "She" a lot and I have to go back and say well...It. Most of you know when I think of our Family I have always thought of 3 little boys and a little girl to finish us off. Maybe all my talking is going to Jinx me and I will have 3 little girls and then a little boy.
Who knows Matt's Older brother has kicked out 4 Boys and no girls. His sisters have all had Girls as the majority. My Side it is a half and half. Andy and Tiff started off their kids with a little Red head girl and My sister had a toe head blond little boy. I still cant believe Amy and Ben on this 3rd pregnancy may wait to see what the sex is until it is born. That is just stressful to me. I think I would HAVE to find out. I hate surprises. Especially something I have just had to carry around for the past 9 months and wait till the last day to find out.

Am I really only 4 weeks and how many days so far...

OK so I feel I have been pregnant more than 4 weeks. If I follow what I hear online they count the weeks of pregnancy starting from the first day of your last menstrual period. But If I look at it I couldn't have been pregnant until the last day of my cycle.
So if I count from the 9Th of August(last day of my cycle) my due date would be May 15Th or so. But if it is counted as the first day of my cycle the due date will be may 7Th. Who knows? Maybe one of you women out there can help and explain which is which? How do I do the counting? I think I like the earlier due date of 5/7/2010. I will stick with that.
I have been really interested in finding out what goes on in each stage of the pregnancy and I hate not knowing the exact time frame I am on. I have my Doctors appointment the 1st week in October and It just feels like it is taking forever to get to that date.
I know anything can happen while being pregnant. My Mom and Sister both having miscarriages it does linger in the back of my mind really what can happen during this amazing part of our life. I know that what happens is what happens and is a plan in the eyes of our heavenly father. I just wish it could be a promised deal..lol. No I feel that will be OK with us able to get pregnant on our first shot. Like probably happened the first day we tried, since I was able to find out so quickly.
OK, It is still weird to think I am pregnant just since I haven't had very many different changes in my body happen yet. But I hear a lot of women don't start feeling the changes until their later trimesters. Who knows. I just should be happy I am feeling well and am not noticing too much change.

4 weeks so far.

Just a little thoughts on whats going on in me right now that I am learning.

My little microscopic embryo is already hard at work this week creating the placenta, umbilical cord and the basics of his or her body. By the end of this week, our baby measures about 1/25 inch long, about the size of a period.

A couple name's that I have thought of and really like is Brighton. If a Boy or Girl I think it would work both ways. But if a Boy it would be Brighton Matthew Hamilton. We also thought of Logan Hamilton. It could go both ways to I guess. We also liked the name Lily Hamilton. Brianna Hamilton, Bridger Hamilton. Those are all that I could think of at this time. Since I work where I talk to so many different people I always get to think of what names I like and what sounds good with Hamilton. Cooper Hamilton. Who knows. What do you think?

The first pregnancy shots

So here are the first photos to put into the book of memories...lol

Baby Hamilton is on its way

August 23rd, 2009. We had found out around 6:20 A.m that we were Pregnant. So with that in mind the Due date for baby Hamilton will be around May 15Th, 2010. Matt and I are so excited for this Baby to join the world. Of course we have 252 days to go. Hopefully we will have good experiences and I don't get sick. LOL, I was told I cant go around that part. So I will go with a good attitude and accept it as it comes. So far I am doing great. There has been no sickness and anything I can so far tell I am pregnant.

I am grateful to have been able to have my older brother Andy come and give me a blessing last week to bless the baby and my body during this new time in my life. I do need all the blessings I can get. J/K . I am filled with hope and ambition to become a healthier person and stronger person inside and out. And that with my Brothers blessing it would just give me that extra strength to know what happens will happen and it will be gods will. I just want to make sure that everything I do will benefit the baby and also my self.

I also am really excited to be having a child along with my sisters. Amy is 8 weeks right now. Jake says he is demanding a little brother. Amy and Ben said they are not going to find out what there having until they have the baby. Tiffany is also pregnant. I'm not too sure of how far along they are but far enough to find out Sadie and Easton are having a little brother. We are so SO excited for them to be having their 3rd child. And they really like the name (as do I) Tucker Don Moosman.

SO we are stoked to see what goes on from here out. I will keep posting things that relate to my pregnancy here on this page.
