Nothing...

Wow...i kinda feel like the title this week ...nothing is really happening in my life right now. Minus the producing of a baby...I really can't say I can do much about that, its just happening. I am just hanging out and waiting. I am walking a bunch and playing a lot of frisbee with Bear. Matt has been so busy with his cabinetry job and all the side work he is doing, i rarely get to see my honey very often. I am so very grateful to have him want to be out working his tail off and make a living for Me and our new little one. Makes me feel really bad he is the one out doing all the hard work and being the only one to bring in an income.

I haven't even been able to go out and pull weeds with all the water retention I have been having, my knees have been very painful when having to kneel down. Matt is such a strong willed man and I adore him and all the hard work he has been doing. He makes my life so happy and wonderful! Even though I feel like nothing right now, He makes me feel like everything to him!

And I have such a wonderful Family that I have been able to spend a lot of time with the past couple weeks it has been wonderful! I am sure my Mom is getting to the point of sending me home instead of letting me hang out at her house. No place is like home, or I mean my parents home!

Well, My mom joined me in today's visit to the Dr.'s for the check up and nothing has progressed. I am not effacing or dilating at all and my cervix isn't tilting at all. He wouldn't even be able to scrape my membrane right now if he wanted to. He cant get to it. He did say she is now on schedule and not a week early anymore. So I guess that is somewhat good news. We are just hanging out and waiting for my body to make the move.

The Dr. did say that if my cervix is not tilting at all there is no way that I would be able to give birth vaginally. If it gets to the point where I don't go into labor that we will let her go a week past the due date and then induce me and see if any changes happen and try that way first...if my cervix opens up..and if not we will go ahead and perform the c section.

We did the ultra sound today and I was asking him if it looks like she is a chubby baby or anything and he said he couldn't see very much fat on the baby that hopefully she is taking after her Dad and will be a long little baby. I was very happy to see that I lost 5 lb. this past week. The last week I was retaining so much water that he was worried. But I was so happy to stand on that scale today and see it had dropped. That has been the hardest part of being pregnant. Watching the numbers rise each week. Of course Dr. wasn't happy to see I had lost weight but said it was the water retention releasing. Which I am happy about.

I just need to find things to do... I haven't been motivated at all to do anything. Except eat the yams and apple casserole!!! MMM...so yummy. I think I will leave it at that today.

Dr appointment today with no updates!

The Doctor wasn't able to give me any new news on the progression of Autumn. He is really worried about how big she is getting with me not dilating at all and effacing more. We are going to do the ultra scan next week and try to get an actual size of her and make more decisions on what to do. He did mention c section...but we will see if any changes have been made. '

I am ok with having the baby any way just as long as she is healthy baby girl. He just kept telling me in a little bit of a worried tone that he is worried on her size and keeps telling me to keep walking and trying the natural ways to induce labor. I am sure most of you know which ways those are.

He did say she has lowered more but that is about it. He checked my swollen ankles, feet and hands. Said I had Edema pretty bad. hasn't gotten to preeclampsia but to keep my eye on it. Last night Matt was looking at my feet and feeling so bad for me. It is getting painful and I wish I could do something about it but he said there really is nothing we can do but wait it out. Only 2 and a half weeks left. I can do. I have no choice. So any suggestions help!

Last night Matt put his head on my tummy and listened to her heart beat. We both thought that was neat. He said he thinks it is hers. LOL it was hers...my heart beat wouldn't be able to be heard in my tummy! Funny guy. Other than that I am holding up pretty well. Minus all the weight I have gained. So looking forward on working on that when she is here. Come on little one! We are excited to meet and hold you! Why the wait?

Baby Shower fun!

The post wont let me write next to each picture so sorry!

Let me just start off by saying a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that helped and those who were able to come and support Me, Matt and Autumn in this new chapter in our lives. I am so grateful for such a wonderful family and support system. This little girl will be one well dresses baby. At least until she is about 1. ha ha j/k.
Also, Thank my Mom for putting everything together and making everything look so wonderful. I felt so wonderful that day to have such a loving family to come help.

And Amy! Thanks so much for the great Baby cake! It looked so great! And it tasted just as yummy as it looked! It was a huge hit of what I hear.
All of the little outfits are so dang cute! Wish I could post a pic of every single one. I will just wait till Autumn is here to sport them.

And thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa for letting us use your home for this baby shower. There were so many people there and I am just not sure how we would have entertained all the people that came in my parents home or mine. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I am not even sure who was watching the little ones while we were in the living room. We got a shot of the kids coming up from down stairs after playing dress up to show their costumes. Reminded me of when I was that small and dressing up and running up the stairs to show everyone. My how time fly's.

Tiff thank you so much for helping me keep track of who gave what. I know it took me forever to open each one and adore each one...then pass on to you to make notes. THank you!

So many adorable baby outfits!!!

Of course Matt's Favorite! A little fly fishing vest! Oh we will see if she is a little sports girl. Who knows what she will enjoy doing?

Love my Family!

Again, thank you all for being such wonderful people in my life! It is wonderful to have such a great Family and friends to share this time in my life with! Now we just need little Autumn here to enjoy all this stuff she has gotten.

Love you all so much!

30 % effaced and heart beat sounds great

Basically what the title said... I am currently at 30% effaced and doing well. The last time I went in I thought the DR. said I was at 3% but I was at 10%. I still feel great. I need to do more walking though. The more I walk the less my ankles are swollen. Which I hate looking down at my feet and seeing these balloon like feet attached to my legs. Not my favorite. But I feel so good after a long walk..Which to me right now is maybe a mile and a half. lol. I am excited to have our baby girl with me when I go for my walks. I am really looking forward to that.

I went into the doctors today expecting to have my membrane stripped and he thought that it was to early and I wasn't ready yet for it. So I was calmed down by that. I didn't have a good feeling about having that done right now when I still have a couple weeks to go. But since the last visit I had been quite nervous the whole week thinking I was going to be having a baby this week. Which I guess could still happen. Of course I want her to come when she is ready. Even if I have a 10 lb baby, I know I can do it and not worried about how big she is getting and what it will be like when we deliver.

The Dr wouldn't give an estimated weight of the baby so I am kinda clueless on her size right now. Which is OK. I guess it is better I don't know. She has been faced down the entire time and always with her back to my left side of my tummy which I think is a good thing. Her heart beat was in the 140's which was good. I love to listen to her. I can identify her back and if I lay down flat on my back I can feel her head in between my hands. So crazy. I just want to see what she looks like.

I have been delayed on packing my hospital bag. I was thinking if he scrapped my membrane today I should have it ready just in case labor follows. But looks like I may still have some time. I think I will still go home and pack my bag. I guess you never know when the baby will decide on coming. Dr did say she is still a week early. After he said that I questioned if the due date still stayed the same and he said "Yes". Again that's ok. I know you are never ready or prepared to have a baby...but I just don't think I am ready yet to be a parent. We will be just fine though.

This last Sunday my Dad, Brothers and Grandpa Moosman gave me a blessing and the feeling was wonderful. It was a nice reassurance I will be ok throughout the rest of this pregnancy and giving birth to our little one. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family who loves and supports us in our lives. That will make it just that much easier to raise a family.

Alright, I am going to go finish making the skirt for the baby crib and hopefully the covers for the slider, of course with Amy's help. I just have a hard time reading the patterns. I will get it down though in time. I may have everything done here soon. Yay.

Send me your tricks for inducing labor...

This morning I went in to get our check up and everything is looking great. Dr is still saying that She is a week a head of schedule and that he hopes that she decides here shortly to make her appearance. He said that he is a bit worried though due to her size. Each time I have gone in he has said "She is a week a head of schedule". Today he told me "She is looking like she may be a 10 lb. baby". WHAT!!! Ohhh my, Any way we can up the due date then? He said "no", but next week I am going to try my hardest to talk him into giving me an earlier due date. The thought of delivering a 10 lb. baby does kinda put me into shock. UGHhhhhh

The Dr said I am only effaced at 3% and next week he will scrape out some membrane to help the process go a bit quicker. I have heard (not from the Dr.) That when he does that it could put me into labor. Im not sure I am ready yet...or ever will be to have her out here yet with us. But I know the sooner the better. A 10 lb. baby keeps running through my head...I need to just keep thinking positive. I am still feeling great and now the Dr says I should just do a lot of walking to try to bump up the due date. OK looks like I will be walking as much as I possibly can.

Well not to much is happening...Just a lot of "ohhhh's and ughhh's" from having her move around in such a limited amount of space. It was really painful yesterday when she was moving. She has been head down this whole time and in the position she needs to be for delivering...but she is giving me some mad head butt's or just punching me down below...and it really really hurts. I thought that yesterday it could possibly be contractions. But I thought it is just to early..but who knows? She is a big little girl already. Matt told me today when he came home for lunch to "get my suitcase ready for the hospital". Who knows when she will be here? He also said..."looks like I am not going fishing the rest of this month". Ha ha. Oh I love Matt so much. He will be a great Dad.

Well, I have had some fun making stuff for her. I have just made a couple of blankets for her. A lot of burp cloths..that are quite big of what I hear. But I have never done well with baby throw up. So the more I have covered the better. ;) I wan't to make more but don't really know what to make. I guess I can post a picture when I get home of the burp cloths. I think they are quite cute. Anyway. I better go for a walk..Bear will be happy about that. Love y'all. Keep me in your prayers.
